Hibiki's the show that's infamous for firing its original staff halfway through -- Kida was the original main writer for the show's first half. Another writer, Shinji Ooishi, wrote episodes with him and people have incorrectly called Ooishi the main writer when it was Kida.
I'm not really into KR, so I wouldn't know. But it does say '前半'.
